Oxtech Ventures has participated at Hello Tomorrow Türkiye event in Istanbul this week. Warm congrats to our advisory board member Timur Topalgoekceli and team for putting together such a high quality showcase for the ecosystem.
The event was full of insights about deep tech in emerging markets, such as live insights on deep tech from the Entrepreneurship Lead at the world's largest particle physics laboratory CERN, on demystifying deep tech investing from Partners at SOSV, newly launched impact investment fund Etki GSYF, next-generation stem cell technology for safer drug delivery developed by ABS Biotechnologies GmbH spun out of the University of Cambridge, safer cell & gene therapy developed by Broken String Biosciences, and biotech technology transfer at Oxentia, the latest milestones in developing the Hyperloop, the 5th mode of transportation, success stories by the General Managers of leading Turkish CVCs actively investing in deep tech were included in the event.
